Camera Map Guide

Complete guide to all camera locations in Five Nights at Epsteins. Learn strategic positions, enemy starting locations, and optimal audio lure placement.

Vent Entrances

These cameras monitor vent entrances where Trump attacks. Critical for vent management.

Cam 1Cam 2

7–8 Corridor

Alternate audio lures between Cam 7 and Cam 8 (same room twice in a row does not work). Use to push enemies back toward the hook.

Cam 7Cam 8

The Hook (Back Hallway)

Single-file back hallway. Keep enemies here as long as possible. Cam 10 is the furthest safe spot; loop enemies between 9, 10, and 11 for control.

Cam 9Cam 10Cam 11

Special Locations

Camera 6: Stephen Hawking's permanent spot (electrocute here). Camera 9: part of the hook and Trump's starting position on Night 2+.

Cam 6Cam 9

Camera Locations

Camera 1

High Priority

Vent entrance location

Associated Enemies

Trump

Notes

Trump attacks through vents connected to Camera 1. Listen for banging sounds and close vents immediately.

Strategy

Monitor this camera when Trump is active. Close vents as soon as you hear banging.

Camera 2

High Priority

Vent entrance location

Associated Enemies

Trump

Notes

Trump attacks through vents connected to Camera 2. This is one of two vent entry points.

Strategy

Similar to Camera 1 - monitor for vent attacks and manage vent controls accordingly.

Camera 6

Critical Priority

Stephen Hawking's permanent location

Associated Enemies

Stephen Hawking

Notes

Stephen Hawking stays permanently at Camera 6 starting from Night 3. Requires periodic electrocution.

Strategy

You must regularly electrocute Stephen Hawking at this camera. He is immune to audio lures, so electrocution is the only control method.

Camera 7

High Priority

Corridor to back rooms

Associated Enemies

EpsteinFC

Notes

Use with Camera 8 in alternation—audio lure does not work twice in a row in the same room. From here you push enemies to Cam 8, then to 11 (or the hook).

Strategy

Alternate audio lures between Cam 7 and Cam 8 to push enemies back. When they are at 7 and 11, send to 8 then both to 11.

Camera 8

High Priority

Back room / corridor

Associated Enemies

EpsteinFC

Notes

Alternate with Camera 7—audio lure does not work twice in a row in the same room. From 8 you can send enemies to 11 or into the hook (9–10–11).

Strategy

Use audio lures from Cam 8 alternating with Cam 7 to keep enemies in the back. When both are at 11 and 7, send to 8 then both to 11.

Camera 9

High Priority

Part of the back hallway ("the hook")

Associated Enemies

EpsteinFCTrump

Notes

Trump starts here on Night 2+. With Cam 10 and 11, forms the "hook"—a single-file back hallway. Alternating 9 and 10 when enemies are at 7 makes their movement easier to track.

Strategy

Keep enemies in the hook (9→10→11). When they are at 7, you can alternate 9 and 10 to push them back.

Camera 10

High Priority

Furthest safe position ("the hook")

Associated Enemies

EpsteinFC

Notes

The furthest spot from the office. Keeping Epstein at 10 (or 11) gives you the most reaction time. Part of the back hallway with Cam 9 and 11.

Strategy

Ideal spot to hold Epstein. Use with 9 and 11 to loop enemies in the hook; alternate 9 and 10 when they move toward 7.

Camera 11

Critical Priority

Epstein and FC's starting position

Associated Enemies

EpsteinFC

Notes

Both Epstein and FC start at Camera 11 every night. This is the most important camera to monitor.

Strategy

Use audio lures from Cam 11 or Cam 8 (alternating with 7) to keep enemies in the hook (9–10–11). Keep them away from the front to reduce pressure.

Audio Lure Placement Guide

Key Principles

  • Audio lures must be played from cameras near enemy locations to be effective
  • Audio lure does NOT work twice in a row in the same room—alternate between Cam 7 and Cam 8 (or other pairs) to push enemies back
  • Overusing audio lures can cause cameras to break—restart at the control panel when you see "Camera Error"
  • Keep enemies in the back hallway "hook" (Cam 9, 10, 11) for easier management; Cam 10 is the furthest safe spot
  • Stephen Hawking is immune to audio lures - use electrocution instead

Important Warning

When cameras break, you'll see a "Camera Error" message. You must restart the cameras at the control panel before you can electrocute Stephen Hawking again. Being without cameras means you're blind to enemy movements!
